A house needing help!

The dull palette of materials useds hide the pleasant and simple form of this house once you entrerd it was clear the spaces were a good size and well lit. The problem was you just didn't want to go inside.

 

 

 
         
 
 

This project involved adding an extension that doubled the size of the house.

This was the easy bit! Making a small farm workers cottage look good was the real challenge but this project illustrates how a s few simple ideas can change the look and feel of a house. The new Eden is a very comfortable family home.

  
         
    The back of the house has a simple even a bit, Scandinavian feel, white render and Oak window frames, simple clean and very effective.  
         
   

The new balcony looks over the Vineyard and to farmland.

 

 

 

 

 

  
         
    The stark contrast from before is illustrative of the need to employ good design and good designers.
